Turkey Nachos

1 lb. ground turkey breast (make sure its turkey breast and not just ground turkey)

1 packet taco seasoning

42 grams mission tortilla chips

1 oz (28 grams) mild cheddar cheese

4 Tbsp. Mild Salsa

2 Tbsp. Sliced black olives

1/2 (45grams) diced avocado

Cilantro and lime juice added for flavor

  1. In a medium sized skillet cook ground turkey breast over medium heat until no longer pink.

  2. Add taco seasoning packet and cook according to package directions.

  3. While meat is cooking place 42 grams of chips onto a plate.

  4. Sprinkle cheese on top of chips.

  5. When meat is done cooking weigh and divide in into four servings.

  6. Top chips and cheese with 1/4 taco meat, salsa, olives and avocado.

  7. Top with cilantro and fresh lime for added flavor.

  8. Store extra meet in fridge to re-heat for later use or use for a family of four.
